Orbix Coating Co. Warranty Terms & Conditions
Coverage
Orbix Coating Co. warrants that with the proper application of an Orbix™ Protective Coating by an Orbix Approved Installer, your vehicle’s painted surfaces will remain protected against:
Oxidation
Loss of Gloss
UV Damage
Acid Rain Etching
Paint Chalking
If any treated paint is shown to be adversely affected by these conditions through normal use—evidenced by a visible loss of gloss and provided all terms of this warranty have been met—such conditions will be remedied free of charge by Orbix Coating Co., its regional distributor, and/or its authorized installer network.
Orbix Coating Co. reserves the right to first attempt repair through professional surface reconditioning or polishing before considering repainting of the affected area.
General Conditions
Registration: Warranty coverage is valid only when the Approved Installer has issued an Orbix Warranty Card and it has been registered within 30 days of application.
Vehicle Eligibility: The vehicle must remain registered, for the entire duration of the warranty, for legal non-commercial road use.
Passenger Use Only: Only vehicles registered as passenger vehicles are covered. Commercial, rental, or fleet vehicles are excluded unless otherwise approved in writing.
Surface Preparation: Vehicles more than 3 months old require machine polishing by an Approved Installer prior to coating. Newer vehicles may also require polishing if recommended by the installer.
Repairs After Damage: If the surface is repaired or repainted (e.g., accident repair), the vehicle must be taken to an Approved Installer for re-treatment of the repaired area at the owner’s expense within 30 days.
Non-Transferable: Warranty is registered in the name of the vehicle owner and cannot be transferred.
Reapplication Fees: If reapplication is required due to accident or repainting, the owner or insurer is responsible for a reapplication fee set by the installer.
Maintenance Requirements:
Vehicle exterior must be washed regularly (recommended bi-weekly) following Orbix maintenance guidelines.
Avoid allowing water to dry on the surface, especially during the first two weeks after installation.
In hard-water areas, dry all coated surfaces immediately with a microfiber towel to prevent mineral deposits.
If water spots appear, remove promptly with a diluted vinegar solution.
Registration Accuracy: Registration must contain true and accurate data, and a valid confirmation number must be retained by the owner.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Negligence, misuse, or failure to properly maintain the coated surface.
Pre-existing paint damage, defective clear coat, or sub-standard workmanship by the manufacturer or third-party detailers not authorized by Orbix.

Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, chips, or abrasions.
Water spots or etching caused by mineral deposits or hard water.
Clear-coat failure (peeling, hazing, fading) or defects covered by the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.
Damage from accidents, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, rust, road debris, rail dust, overspray, or any event of force majeure.
Any panel not retreated after paint repair.
Loss of time, use, or other consequential damages while inspections or repairs are being performed.
Brush car washes are strictly prohibited. Touch-less washes only.
Annual Inspections
Annual inspections must be completed by an Orbix Approved Installer within 30 days before or after each warranty anniversary date.
Failure to complete the required inspection will void the warranty.
A service fee, determined by the installer, applies to each inspection and includes: exterior wash, decontamination, topcoat refresh, and system inspection.
Each inspection must be recorded within 30 days on OrbixCoating.com (or authorized partner system).
Limit of Liability / Claims
Reporting: Any damage believed to be covered must be reported to an Approved Installer within 30 days of discovery.
Determination: Claim approval is at the sole discretion of Orbix Coating Co., which may:
Authorize repair or retreatment by an Approved Installer, or
Refund the original coating application cost up to a maximum of $1,000 USD and terminate the warranty—whichever is less.
Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and parties agree to submit to its jurisdiction.
Reminders: Courtesy inspection reminders may be sent by email; non-receipt does not excuse a missed inspection.
